No experience is necessary

In this 3-hour class you will learn the process of etching on glass, mirror and bevels using silica carbide in a blasting cabinet. You will make two projects on beveled glass: 1 surface etched, and 1 using single-stage carving to give depth to the image. You will learn the composition of stencils, how to apply them to the glass, and how to create your own stencils so you will be able to custom-design your own projects. Class time does not allow for in-depth instruction on use of the blasting equipment, but that will be provided at no cost to anyone who desires to rent time in our blasting cabinet in the future. Class fee is $65.00 +tax, including all of the materials.
