Snowflakes: where beauty and symmetry meet. It’s been said that a snowflake is Winter’s butterfly. No wonder we love them! We are so excited about this mosaic class in which each student will make 2 (much larger than life) snowflakes. The largest measures 7” in diameter, the small one is 4.5” and close to 1” thick, so they easily stand on their own. We’ll have the iridized glass strips precut so you can likely finish the 2 mosaics in the 3-hour class time. These snowflakes don’t have to be grouted unless you choose to do it (at home). And since they are wood, should be kept indoors.
Cost includes: 2 Snowflake wood bases sprayed white, precut glass strips in iridized white, 2 iridized large rounds for the centers and a total of 42 dots for the tips, small bottles of glue that you can take home if you’re not able to finish.
Bring: Nippers, if you have some and safety glasses. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
Teacher: Tonya Schade
