4/26, Tonya's Wisteria Class
4/26, Tonya's Wisteria Class
Date: Saturday, April 26th: 9:30-1:30pm
No experience is necessary so why not ask a friend to join you!
Every flower blooms at a different pace. Some Wisteria can take up to eight years before it starts to bloom but oh, it is so worth the wait!
In this class, you will learn how to score and nip your wisteria blooms along with a dichroic hummingbird. This panel is all done in transparent glass to give it that airy soft look of a wisteria vine. You could choose purple, white, yellow, or blue for your flower panel. The finished size is 8x12 and includes hanging hooks so it would be lovely in a window.
Includes: 8x12 clear base glass, green glass for leaves, a dichroic hummingbird body, embellishments, hanging hooks and kiln firing. You will need to purchase ¼ sheet of glass in 2 colors to make your wisteria bloom as well as 4 inches of dichroic glass for your hummingbird. If you’d rather just purchase a precut hummingbird, you have that option too.
This is a 4-hour class so you’re welcome to bring a simple lunch or snack, if you choose to.
Bring: Safety glasses, if you have them. No shorts or open-toed shoes.
Teacher: Tonya Schade
